By way of example, our teams have implemented the following guidelines to ensure that we do our part to prevent the spread of the virus and protect our valued patients and teammates:
- Frequent and rigorous hand washing by all team members before and after each patient encounter
- Frequent disinfection and sanitization of patient areas and workstations to include all door handles, as well as high traffic and surgical areas multiple times a day
- Limit patient scheduling to promote a quicker candidacy process and congestion in our waiting rooms
- Continuous monitoring of our employees and physician partners to ensure any who are not feeling well are immediately sent home
Thank you for choosing Gordon Schanzlin New Vision Institute for your life-changing LASIK procedure. To ensure the safety of all our patients, staff and physician partners, we kindly ask that if you are experiencing flu like symptoms or have traveled outside of the US in the past two weeks, that you reschedule your appointment.
We appreciate your anticipated cooperation in our efforts to prevent the spread of the virus. To that end, we ask that you only bring one adult support person with you to your appointment. While we appreciate celebrating your life-changing procedure with your many friends and family supporters, we ask that while the virus is a concern that our patients limit their support system at their appointments.
